Fishin Club meeting April 2017
This month at Luigi’s, Reel maintenance and service.
Bring a reel to the meeting, you will learn how to oil and clean. Oil and Reel cleaner will be provided be me.
So if you are going to order food, maybe not spaghetti, Some thing easier to eat while you work on your reel.
No tools needed. Please bring with you any spinning reel old or new.
Meeting are free but you have to sign up ahead of time 941-625-3888 for reservations

You only sign up for one of the nights, the topic is the same each night but as the room only holds 50 people
this gives everyone a chance to attend.

Tent Sale Event is a memory what a day 2017
Wow what a day, over 3,000 people showed up and I would say what I heard the most was how friendly and helpful the vendors were, which is one of two things I like the most the other being that the people had a good time. a couple of guys said they dialed it in, they came early and got the stuff they wanted and then came back at 1:30 when it slowed down and spent time talking to the People from the factories.
By Monday morning I had re-booking request from pretty much all of the Vendors for Next Year March 17th 2018 asking me to hold their booth space,
and for the first time we are out of room out front so I am adding 10 to 15 new companies into the back lot. Mostly lure companies as out back we have room for the casting demo tanks so you can see how the lures should be worked. knowing when to hop, pop, or twitch a lure can ,make all the difference between a great day fishing and a greater day catching. Another Idea I was toying with is a knot tying booth, where you could learn knots and how to tie on leaders. So anyway what I am thinking is to add. more learning things in the back lot.
I hope if you came to the event you had a good time, and when you come next year, you will see a lot more stuff, and even more factory people.
